Wire transfers are the fastest and safe way to make deposits to and withdrawals from accounts at different financial institutions. Incoming wire transfers to deposit accounts received between 8:30 AM ET and 5:00 PM ET and incoming wire transfers to non-deposit accounts received between 8:30 AM ET and 4:00 PM ET are processed the same business day. Wire transfers are not processed on weekends or Federal Reserve holidays.
The Bancorp Bank, N.A. (“Bank” or “Bancorp”) does not assess a fee for incoming wire transfers. The intermediary institution processing the transfer and remitting payment on behalf of the originating institution may assess a fee.
DOMESTIC
For incoming domestic wire transfers to deposit accounts, please provide the sender with the following information:
The Bancorp Bank, N.A. ABA Routing Number: 031101114
The full 10-digit Bancorp deposit account number where the monies are to be deposited.
The person’s or company’s name on the Bancorp deposit account where the monies are to be deposited.
The address of the person or company named on the Bancorp deposit account where the monies are to be deposited.
IMPORTANT: Please tell the sender to include a brief, but specific description of the purpose of the money transfer. The Bank has a responsibility to understand each customer’s transactions to determine if a transfer fits the customer’s profile. If no apparent purpose is provided or is unclear our Wire Transfer Department may contact the Bancorp customer for additional information.
INTERNATIONAL
For international wire transfers to Bancorp deposit accounts, please provide your Bancorp full name/title, address, 10-digit deposit account number, and The Bancorp Bank, N.A. Routing Number 031101114 to originating international bank. Please also advise originating international bank the wire transfer requires an intermediary bank for the funds to be received at The Bancorp Bank, N.A. We are not a member of Swift and are unable to receive international wires directly.
IMPORTANT: Because the Bank has a responsibility to understand each customer’s transactions to determine if a transfer fits the customer’s profile, our Wire Transfer Department may contact the Bancorp customer for additional information about the purpose of the incoming wire transfer if the sender has not included a specific description of the purpose for the money transfer.
